On August 5, 2009 the 3rd Annual Peterborough Regional Health Foun¬dation Golf Tournament will take place at the fabulous Wildfire Golf Club.
Funds raised at this year’s golf tournament will be directed to the purchase of a Portable Ultrasound Machine for use in the Operating Room primarily to assist with the placement of central venous catheters. These large specialized IV lines are inserted into the major veins of the body to administer fluids and/or medications to very ill patients, or during major surgery.
