Upcoming tournaments include the St. Mikes Hospital Foundation Out of the Rough golf tournament for the prevention, treatment and support of head injury care, and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation Golf Tournament both taking place on August 4, 2010.

Our very own Greg Neinstein was the top individual fund-raiser at the Taylor Cup pond hockey tournament which took place at the Bayview Wildwood Resort in Severn, Ontario this past weekend.  Greg managed to raise almost $15,000 and his team “PuckU” raised over $17,000 in total.  All proceeds collected for the event benefit the Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Research Fund.  Click here for the full story.

On Friday, September 25th, 2009, at Angus Glen Golf & Conference Centre, the St. Michael’s Hospital Head Injury Clinic and the St Michael’s Hospital Foundation hope to make history by raising over one hundred thousand dollars at the Out of the Rough Golf Tournament.
Over the past six years, the tournament has raised over a half a million dollars for urgent research and patient care programs in the St. Michael’s Hospital Head Injury Clinic.

On Thursday September 18, 2008 the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA) in partnership with Bloorview Kids Rehab presented A “Practical” Day with world-renowned speech-language pathologist, researcher, and author Dr. Mark Ylvisaker. The conference was held at the beautiful Toronto Botanical Gardens with over 200 delegates in attendance. (more…)
